Call for Papers is now closed

Criteria for 2009

Please read and follow all directions. Submit your proposal by email to TECBD@asu.edu use the word form below. Only submit one form for each session. The lead presenter has the responsibility to notify the other presenters on the team of the time and location of the session.

TECBD is seeking proposals that address research, practice, applications, issues, and related aspects of emotional and behavior disorders of children and youth. We are particularly interested in sessions that contribute to the diverse conference program covering the broad span of topics and concerns related to emotional and behavioral disorders.

Submission of this proposal is acknowledgement that all proposal participants agree to:
1. Register for the conference.
2. Be available to present on any given day and time of the conference.
3. Receive no renumeration or honorarium for presenting.

4. Supply their own laptop. A data projector with a VGA adaptor and screen will be provided. All other audio visual equipment must be provided by the presenter. MAC users - please bring your own adaptors.

* Please note - internet is not available in the presentation rooms. If you need internet access for your presentation you must make arrangements with the hotel and incur the cost.

Presenter Information
* Include the full name of the lead presenter (as you want it listed in the program), institution or organization, address, and phone and email contact information.
* Include full name (as you want it listed in the program), institution, and email of all co-presenters.

Proposal Format

All sessions are 50-minutes in length.
Lecture, panel, demonstration, and interactive sessions will be accepted.

Academic and behavioral interventions Aggression and violence in schools Assessment issues Autism research and interventions Characteristics of students with EBD Corrections, delinquency, or juvenile justice
Culturally responsiveness in EBD Depression and social withdrawal Gender issues in EBD Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Response to Intervention (RTI) Evidence Based Research (EBP)

Requirements
* 12 word title (max.)
* 50 word abstract (max.)

Notified by email of day and time you will be presenting by September 15, 2009
